Parallel Intersection Showcase

September 14 – October 6, 2019
Capa Center (Budapest, Hungary)

In the digital age, we tend to forget how crucial a cleverly composed collection of business cards could be only a couple of decades ago. Part of the Parallel Intersection, the Showcase exhibition is a collective introduction – similar to a bouquet of business cards – in which 30 artists selected by the jury from the applicants of the public call will put their business cards on the table. This is an important milestone for them, as well as a promise for us because parallel to that, they will embark upon the work of the year before them to prepare, in the framework of the Parallel Platform, their newest works, armed with the advice of mentors, curators and peer artists. Thus thirty artists of promising talent are debuting in Budapest, whom we shall see again in Landskrona.
